SECURE COMMUNICATION IN WEBMAIL

In order to implement your e-mail operations by communicating with the server in the encrypted manner, you will do this operation only once.

1) Please go the web address http://webmail.boun.edu.tr/ca.crt
2) When asked "Save" the Security Certificate to your computer.
3) Double click to the file that you have saved and click the "Install Certificate" button.
4) After the Certificate Import Wizard window is opened, complete the operation by clicking "Next", "Next" and "Finish" buttons. At last you will receive a message reporting "The import was successful." The Security Certificate is successfully installed.
5) Please go the web address https://webmail.boun.edu.tr/. There will appear a warning, press "Yes" and continue your mail operations.

After you had succeeded this operation once, you can implement your e-mail operations from the web address https://webmail.boun.edu.tr/.
