1. Where can I buy disposable printing cards?

Print-out cards can be acquired at South and North campus labs between 9.00 and 17.00.

In order to acquire print-out cards:

a) You need to deposit 6.50 YTL to the account number listed below at GARANTI BANK.
b) With the receipt you will receive from the bank, you'll be able to get your "100 print-outs" card from the Laboratory Staff.
c) In case the money transfer is carried out by means of internet banking or ATM's, the receipt with student number, name, surname and signature written on it should be handed in to the Laboratory Staff.

2. How many printouts can be taken from disposable printing cards and what does it cost?

The cards are only of 100 print-outs capacities. They are single-use only. The cards should be disposed when the print-out credits are over. The cards cannot be returned and the money will not be paid-back under any circumstances.

The price for 100 print-outs card is 6.50 YTL

3. How can I take my printouts?

3.1. You have to know the number of your computer and your lab.
Example: LAB208 - LAB412 - LAB526

3.2. Prepare the document(s) that which is going to be printed. Press the Print button.

3.3. Go to the print server, according to your computer number find the corresponding document(s) that belongs to you.

3.4. Select your document.

3.5. Press the "PRINT" button on the print server.

In order to get the printout press "YES" button. Units are reduced as the number of paper that you have printed out. By pressing "ESC" button you can take your disposable printing card back.

3.6. Check the card reader; if it is empty insert your disposable printing card in to the card reader slot.
(In case of finding a card that belongs to someone else press "ESC" button for take it out and give the disposable printing card to the lab operators.)

You will see a small dialog window as:

Total Cost = 0,01 TL (For 1 pages of printout the cost will be 1 units.)
OK to Print?
YES NO

In order to get the printout press "YES" button. Units are reduced as the number of paper that you have printed out. By pressing "ESC" button you can take your disposable printing card back.

3.7. Your document(s) on the print queue will stay 30 minutes and than will be deleted automatically.

3.8. Please take your printouts from the printer. And don't forget to take out your disposable printing card from the card reader slot.

4. How many units left on my disposable printing card?

Insert your disposable printing card to the card reader. The number of units on your disposable printing card will be displayed on the card reader screen. For getting back your disposable printing card press "ESC" button.

5. Protection of disposable printing cards?

Do not fold up your disposable printing card. Protect your disposable printing card any kind of humidity and water.
